DX provides soft, flexible tubing, which is odorless, tasteless, and inert and is suitable for air, water, food, and beverage applications. It is made of silicone rubber, nonreactive, flexible, and resistant to high temperatures. Silicone is resistant to ozone, weather, detergent, saltwater, engine and transmission oil, non-petroleum brake fluid, hydraulic fluids that resist fire, vegetable and animal oils. Its hardness ranges from 30 to 80 ShoreA. It can be customized color or a translucent natural color. The tubing can withstand temperatures from -75 F to 450 F(-60°C to 232°C). It is sterilizable with steam or gas for repeated use.
